Install
Download the ZXP file and open it with a free ZXP installer (2 minutes, guide below). The Creative Cloud Marketplace listing follows once Adobe approves it.
Open the panel
In any of the five apps, open Window › Extensions (legacy) › Calligraphy Maker. Dock it wherever you like.
Sign in
Press Continue. Your browser opens the Studio99 sign-in (one click with Google) and the panel continues by itself.
Type your text
Pick Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, or English, type up to 90 characters, choose a style and weight, and generate.
Insert
Click Insert on the design you like. Change the colour first if you want, or save a PNG or SVG.
Installing the ZXP file, step by step
Adobe extensions ship as a signed .zxp file. Adobe apps cannot open it directly, so a small free helper does the install. Pick either one; both work on Windows and Mac and take two minutes.
Install it, then drag the downloaded ZXP file onto its window. Windows and Mac.

Click Download ZXP above. Keep the file; do not unzip it.

Install the aescripts ZXP Installer (or Anastasiy's Extension Manager) once.
- 3Install the ZXP
Quit your Adobe apps, then drag the ZXP onto the helper. It confirms in a few seconds.
- 4Open the panel
Start Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro or After Effects → Window › Extensions (legacy) › Calligraphy Maker.
Panel not showing? Common fixes+
- Quit the Adobe app completely (not just the document) and open it again. Extensions load at start-up.
- Look under Window › Extensions (legacy), not Window › Extensions or Plugins. On 2022 and older versions it is simply Window › Extensions.
- Version check: the extension needs the 2020 releases or newer of each app.
- Mac says the file is damaged or unidentified: right-click the helper app → Open the first time, then install the ZXP again.
- Updating: installing a newer ZXP over the old one replaces it. To remove it, use the same helper (Anastasiy's shows a Remove button).

Which Adobe apps and versions does it work in?+
Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and After Effects, from the 2020 releases onwards, on Windows and macOS. One installation covers all five apps.
How do I install it from the ZXP file?+
Download the ZXP file, install one free helper (aescripts ZXP Installer or Anastasiy's Extension Manager, both Windows and Mac), and drop the ZXP onto it. Then open your Adobe app and find Calligraphy Maker under Window › Extensions (legacy). If the panel does not appear, quit the Adobe app fully and open it again. Step-by-step guide on this page.
Why does sign-in open my browser?+
Signing in through your normal browser is how desktop extensions sign in safely: the panel never sees your password. After you sign in, the browser hands a one-time code back to the panel on your own computer and the panel continues by itself. If your browser cannot come back, use "sign in with a code" and paste the code shown.
Can the extension see my documents?+
No. It only inserts the designs you choose into the open document. The only data it sends to Studio99 is the text you type, your sign-in, and your credit usage.
What does Pro add?+
Pro gives you 300 generations a month (1,500 credits) and unlocks every premium font in full quality. It is included in Studio99 One, which also unlocks Pro in Prishora, Inkora, and every other Calligraphy Maker app.
What happens in Premiere Pro and After Effects?+
Video apps do not take vector files, so the design is inserted as a large transparent PNG: in Premiere Pro at the playhead on the top video track, in After Effects as a layer in the active composition. Because those apps link to media files, the PNGs are kept in a Calligraphy Maker folder in your user data.
Which languages can I type in?+
Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, and English. For Hindi, Marathi, and Gujarati you can type in the script directly, or type in English letters (for example "shubh vivah") and pick the matching suggestion.
